HMS SOFTWARE AND DIALOOG SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC ALLIANCE PARTNERSHIP
Montreal-based publishers of TimeControl collaborate with Dialoog Solutions to integrated the talia interface system with TimeControl
Montreal, June 15, 2009, HMS Software, a leading provider of project management and enterprise timesheet solutions, has announced a new strategic partnership with Dialoog Solutions, publishers of "talia", an instant-messaging based interface system.
"We're very excited about the work Dialoog Solutions has done to integrate their system interface to TimeControl," said Chris Vandersluis, President of HMS Software. "The talia system will allow TimeControl users to update and enter their timesheets through an instant messaging system or even from Smartphone's like Blackberry or Microsoft Mobile devices."
Both HMS Software and Dialoog Solutions are Montreal-based organizations and the close proximity of the companies allowed for a high degree of collaboration between the Dialoog and HMS Software development departments. The result is a highly integrated combination of tools that provide an easy interface to a robust timesheet system. End users who use talia to update their timesheets are insulated from any complexities of the timesheet process and can even update their timesheet through a handheld device such as a Smartphone.
"We were happy to work with Dialoog's technical personnel on this project," explained Stephen Eyton-Jones, HMS Software's Director of Technical Services. "HMS's contribution was to identify where the talia system needed to integrate into TimeControl and to ensure the Dialoog personnel knew the business rules that were designed into TimeControl. We're delighted with the results and seeing talia and TimeControl interrelate."
For those interested in more information on talia and how it is integrated into TimeControl, HMS has created a solutions site on the timecontrol.com website to show the systems working together. To visit the solutions page please visit: www.timecontrol.com/solutions/talia.
